freshly stitched Christmas gift tags

I had to give up my plan for homemade Christmas cards again this year. Life just gets too busy sometimes. But I did order a gold foiled photo card, and I have some special tags ready for Santa's delivery on Christmas Eve. If time allows I plan to make a few sets of gift tags to give to some crafty family members. fresh crafts planner update

I am having so much fun this year writing down all of my daily highlights in a Heidi Swapp planner . I wish I had started doing this sooner, because I stopped scrapbooking as soon as my kids were born and those first few years had a lot of milestones I would have liked to remember. Better late than never! The stickers above were from my February 2017 Pipsticks subscription . Perfect timing for my annual houseplant purchase. I have also used my planner as a place to color. I stamped the "large cottage" flowers from Paper Source and used Prismacolor colored pencils to try out some blending. I ended up liking the colors in the tiny blue one in the corner best, so I will have to try it out again. The gold coffee cup sticker is from Pipsticks (intro pack). And the tiny heart is an old wood mount from Memory Box Stamps. These animal stickers from Pipsticks (February 2017 subscription) reminded me of the raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy. I am trying to keep my plan...

Pipsticks - March 2017 Pro Club Classic - sticker subscription

I mentioned last time that I still had plenty of stickers from my first two Pipsticks subscription packs, but the March set promised donuts! And it certainly did not disappoint. Just look! Donuts and silly animal labels that include a wiener dog. A pre-stamped postcard and glittery fruit stickers. I even love the inspirational card this month. The other stickers are pictured below - 15 total. I really don't have any complaints about this month's subscription. I love that I can use almost all of them in my planner and I can think of ways to use all of them.  I made the mistake of opening this with my daughter and then I had to tell her that she could not take them all and use them on a piece of paper that would be recycled tomorrow. Hello, my name is Cassi and I am a sticker hoarder. Thanks for keeping my life filled with awesome stickers, Pipsticks ! This is not a sponsored post - I just truly love this subscription service. And if you want a $5 coupon then just leave...

Pipsticks - take two

My second Pipsticks package arrived this week! Hooray for happy mail. Here is a peek inside the February 2017 Pro Club Classic subscription from Pipsticks . There was a great selection and wide variety in this set. I loved the paper thin planet stickers (like metallic washi tape). I'm not sure how I will use the "I Love Lucy" sticker or the Instax frames (since I don't have an Instax camera).  I was really happy to see another pre-stamped postcard because postcards are my new go-to for sending happy mail to friends and family. Also glad that a bunch of smaller stickers I can use in my planner/journal. were included I already used all of the succulent stickers in there to document the my houseplant buying frenzy - hello spring fever! Below are the three sticker sets I won't use from this month's subscription set. Hipster animals strike again! 3/15 isn't bad. My daughter ended up using all of the animals but that sumo sheet is still sad and untouch...

Pipsticks - monthly sticker subscription review

I just got my first Pipsticks envelope in the mail and I was swooning over the packaging right away. Everyone knows about my affinity for clear envelops since I professed my love last December. Pipsticks came to my attention last December when an ad popped up in my Facebook feed. I clicked through and kept going back every few days...I couldn't get the idea of a sticker subscription out of my head. In grade school I had a sticker book and collected all the best glitter, fuzzy, puffy stickers the early 90s had to offer. I don't have that sticker book any more. But because I have been crafting for my entire adult life I clearly don't need any more stickers. See for yourself. This stack of 12" x 12" bins is half stickers...mostly ABC stickers from scrapbooking. Eeek! I can't believe I showed that to everyone. Despite all those stickers sitting in a bin, I decided to try this out for just a month. I want to show you what I got in the January Pro Club Class...
