Today is the Spring Equinox!  Although it has been feeling spring-y around here for quite a few weeks.  The first sign for me is always seeing lots of strawberries at the grocery store.  There is not much I love more than a big delicious bowl of berries. Second sign - Easter crafts.  Now that I have a little one, I need to make a festive Easter basket that will last a lifetime.  My brothers and I are still using the ones that my mom made for us back in the 80's.  They have bunny fabric and ribbons and each one is a different shape.  To carry on the tradition I plan to line this basket in the orange bunny fabric and add some fun velvet ric rak too. I love flowers!  And what a surprise to get so many for my birthday this year.  You can't tell in the picture but the orange and yellow bouquet actually had glitter sprayed onto it.  The red tulips were potted so I can enjoy those year after year.  The pink and white ones are still looking fresh a week later.  And the ones on the table are Godiva chocolate tulips! And a little sneak peek of what is coming...my typewriter from eBay is in the very last picture.  It's in the shop now getting a tune up and a fresh ribbon!
